During his career as a professional photographer spanning printing, publishing, photography, multimedia, film and video in the studio and locations all over the world, Leo Meier has accumulated a deep and unique insight into the imaging industry.
Leo is passionate about his work and his enthusiasm is infectious. He loves sharing his passion, experience, and knowledge, including his accumulated ‘box of professional tricks’.
All tuition is available from entry-level to intermediate and advanced professional level to individuals, groups, schools and organisations. Teaching programs can be customised and targeted to specific areas of interest.
Leo Meier hosts courses and workshops from one-on-one to groups, schools, organisations, businesses and institutions (Cert IV TAA qualified, nationally recognised by the Australian Institute of Training and Development (AITD).

Computer fundamentals and consulting on Mac and Windows.
Can include networking and a full range of hardware and software considerations. Leo loves solving problems and will design solutions that best fit your needs and budget. -
Macro and wildlife, (techniques, camouflage, remote triggers, available light, multi-flash, equipment).

Portrait (techniques, lighting, studio and location, equipment).

Landscape (techniques, HDR, panorama stitching, long exposures, focus stacking, equipment).

Weekend workshops and field trips.

Digital image manipulation (Photoshop, Lightroom, Aperture, etc).

Digital imaging workflow fundamentals and essentials.

Digital asset management (metadata including IPTC and EXIF, cataloguing, back-up, archiving).

Colour management (ICC profiling, display and device calibration, soft proofing).

Audio visual presentations.

Inkjet printing (Photoshop and RIP).
